- German-English & English-German Translator Having problems translating German script? Try out this German website. Type in a surname or word and click “umwandeln” It will appear in script.
- Google Translate Google Chrome allows you to translate entire websites in 2 clicks of your mouse. You can use it all the time especially on Pommerschen Greif, German websites, etc. No more copy paste into Google Translate. Nearly 70% of PC/Mac users use Google Chrome. Procedure – Access the website you want to translate, right click on your mouse, and click on the Translate to English selection. It translates the page. If you go to another page, you may have to do this again. It works very well. Saves a lot of time
- Deepl Translates articles from newsletters, websites etc.
- WordMine.info is a search engine for finding words. The searches can be done in a lot of different languages.

Friedrich has been a full time genealogist in South western Germany. He has extensive databases with lists of inhabitants from the 18th century and emigrant names. His main focus are archival documents from pre - church period including determination of the place of origin of emigrants, research on Jews etc. He has spoken to the Immigrant Genealogical Society members many years ago, Very knowledgeable.
